I Too Had A Love Story..
Only reason I read this book was the title itself I too had a love story, ‘a heartbreaking true tale’. With my keen interest I finished it in just one sitting of 4.5 hours. It didn’t let me move an inch during my course of reading; I can say I was under some spell of the book.
The author tells his love story (with a tragic end) through this book. It is the love story of Ravin and Khushi, how they met through Shaadi.com (a matrimonial site) and how their love bloomed. But, things didn’t happen as they had thought as destiny had other plans for them. I don’t want to disclose it any further. I want the readers to enjoy it to the fullest, mark my words you will love it.
I would start with the words by N.R. Narayana Murthy-“Simple, honest and touching”, these three words completely justifies the novel.
Though it’s very difficult to describe the feelings and emotions in words but Ravinder Singh in his debut novel, has beautifully penned down every emotion, readers could ‘feel’ every single emotion in the book. Unlike other fiction books this book describes all the love stories don’t always have happy ending.
“Not everyone in this world has the fate to cherish the fullest form of love; some are born just to experience the abbreviation of it”. Though the novel starts with these words (so true) but I would end my review with it, saluting Ravinder Singh to share his love story with us. A book deserving to be a national best seller.
